@MPX - any update on Hot Metal Pro?

Hi, I'd like to know too please, as sold my old clubs when I ordered a set of hmp 4-pw +gw with esx graphite shafts in early October hoping to have them now as courses back open here in Ireland, but does this mean I have to wait til January because I ordered pw & gw?

Thanks for the update mate! I’m still waiting on my irons however, I’ll take confidence from this. I today received my driver, 3 wood, hybrid, putter and bag so just waiting on the irons now

Ridiculous you are still waiting after placing your order in September. No excuses for this

I ordered my 921 tours end of sept and got them end Oct. If wait is longer than what mizuno are saying, perhaps the retailer is the issue

Im a bit confused now, my fitter told me mid december new heads arriving (forged) and now I read this that its actually mid Jan. Is this regarding right handed and left handed heads? Or is the process different in mixed sets? Jpx 921 Tour SEL, missing one 4 iron head, otherwise everything ready and allocated to my order.. Ordered 12th october.

That's where its just best for the retailer to give us a call and we'll be able to give an estimated delivery date that takes everything into account. The dates for deliveries into our factory changes as well. Our suppliers have their own issues and not every date we're given turns out to be correct. Very frustrating all round. Apologies probably sound empty - so i won't use up another one. I promise if there was anything we could do differently, we would.

Hope you get them mate yet I’ve been told that my set of hot metal won’t arrive until next year as they will not build the set without the wedges. Wedges aren’t due in until January (may have even been mid jan) not sure... nearly 4 months wait that will be for me. Not good but hope you get yours this side of Xmas. It’s the gap wedge that would concern me with that estimate based on what I’ve been told. I’ve been on to customer services a few times and not overly impressed that irons can’t be sent before wedges but it is what it is now

Feel your pain mate! I’ve spent 2.5k on a full bag of Mizuno. Now I’m sat here with a nee bag, driver, 3 wood, hybrid, putter (m craft 2) and no irons or wedges so can’t play. All the lads Back on the course, lockdown lifted, comps being missed etc etc nightmare! I wasn’t happy with the 4-6 week timescale I was originally given but was content to let the order go ahead yet it’s turned in to a very long tiring process and one that has taken away a lot of the excitement to be honest. Hopefully they arrive sooner and make my Xmas but cannot see it. Hope you get yours and you shouldn’t have to cancel wedges just because you expect your clubs within 3 months! I did consider this but why should I, I want the set ordered but the wait is terrible now

Thats a bit of a joke really David, I know a lot going on , but I ordered a custom fit SIM 3 wood from Tailor-made and it arrived after just a week from UK. I know they waiting for components but surely if we given option as you said to get our irons then the wedges when the come or cancel the wedges, just really frustrating after spending so much money,

Oh man , thats crazy, yep, do you know you're right shouldn't have to cancel wedges really , and as you said the whole initial excitement of getting the new clubs is wearing thin ,I'll get on to Golfworx and see if they any update, though to be honest Karl there is on to Mizuno every day but no joy, lets hope for the best

100% agree. I believe the U.K. gets this demand to build at the same time from Japan and they can’t go against it. Seems odd to me and they must know the target swing weights of each club regardless but who am I to say... all I can say is that it hasn’t sat well with me. If I had my irons I could play. I’ve paid for them. I should be able to get a hold of them. Just hope this doesn’t go beyond Jan. I said that about December though and now look so.... time will tell but Mizuno need to catch up and get the situation sorted that’s for sure.

Hi there, is this related to orders received from now? i.e. I put an order for the 921 HMPs (including GW) 1st October and have been told they should be delivered this week but the GW is out of stock, expected end of November. Is that date no longer realistic? (In general, appreciate you can't comment on specific orders).
