I've arranged for my caddie to sport a bib that will have both my user name (front) and real name (back) and also hired one of those guys with the mini scoreboard for the legions of fans that will no doubt have been arranged - so they can see where the players in my group stand.
I don't really mind which name you use on those big scoreboards that will dotted about the place.
Do you need to know how to pronounce Kirkham so that the television guys don't mess it up?

Even though I've a fair drive ahead of me afterwards I won't be rushing off seeing as everyone has gone to so much trouble to organise it. Are the groupings pre-destined or are they being decided on the day?

Deemac - Thanks for the invite. Where, when and likely cost? if it is during the school holidays may need to bring junior to play as well. Remember I am midlands based so travel may be a factor. That said, would be good to meet some of you in any event - maybe some of the wisdom will rub off on me.

And there's me thinking it was just a friendly get together, if I'd know we were having a full blown comp I'd have started drinking WD40 to loosen up my back and started my special Tibetan meditations weeks ago! I suppose I'd better play a few holes before we go down there then.
For the love of all thing Miz, please say it's going to be a Stableford format, I've got to drive back so can't drink to console myself if I near the treble digits in a stroke play.

Looking at handicaps it'd better be stableford or net strokeplay off full handicap - we appear to have some very useful golfers amongst us- which is of course what mizuno would expect.
