It was a golf ball shaped head so you have to hit it out of the centre or the ball goes sideways. He got used to that and felt that the sphere shape helped him line up better so it developed from there.
Flying back to London today from Gibraltar. Much better weather today - not a cloud in the sky and the wind has dropped. Early scores suggesting it's a little easier today (but still a very tough course!).
A couple of weeks in the office for me now before going to Japan HQ for a week of meetings.
had a set in my hand from a rep yesterday - they are awesome in real life guys - the driver and the three wood are slightly open at address, the rescue looked pretty neutral. Unfortunately wasn't allowed to try them out, just look at them.
Particularly keen to try the driver as I haven't found any driver that excites me in 4 years and I tried all the in vogue models/white ones/interchangeable gimmicks etc etc but the Mizuno looks very nice.
I can see the Driver, 3 wood and hybrids fitting nicely in my bag.(even if I have to reshaft them all) I hope they use the Tour staff headcovers that match the staff bag.
Then all I need for a full Mizuno bag would be the MP putter, if I can get my hands on one. I may have to plan a Euro trip just to get one.
