rb990 - I would probably say 15th January 2012 as then I can let Frilford know how many are coming.

I have been asked what tee times would we like to book so considering that people are driving some way to the course what tee times would people prefer for 9 holes in the morning and 18 in the afternoon?

i am only in sussex, reckon on about two to two and a half hour drive (lagreset car park in the world dependant,(m25)) so i will make what ever people reckon is best. maybe 8.30 - 9.00 then 12.30 - 13.00

Hopefully the M25 won't be too bad considering it is a Saturday.

Provisional tee times - 9.30am for the blue course and 1.30pm for the red course with brunch in between.

Possibly 2 individual comps with the morning being a 'warm up' for the afternoon.

How about the 9 hole is a limited club comp - like 3 clubs and a putter?

People always talk about doing these but never do - As it's nine holes, could be fun

Sorry I have just endured the two Turkey Trots, 3 clubs and a putter. That's enough till next December. 36 holes is a long slog, slog being the word. 2 of them because I rate as a senior as well.

that's ok. it was a suggestion which seems fun to me only because I have not done the 3 clubs and a putter though it is still open to what type of comp there is for the morning.

3 club & putter are ok as club fun events but personally I would prefer to have use of all my "bats" especially on an unfamiliar course! Must say hats of to Wotsit for coming up with a cracking venue! :$
