They're mostly all there now. The Americans arrived this morning after flying overnight.

Poults has been tweeting views from his hotel bedroom window. Rory has been tweeting pics of him and Gmac en route via jet. (Apparently both teams have been banned from tweeting so not sure when this comes into effect)

Is the Mizuno representation just there for Donald and Overton or in an Open like capacity as overall workshop?

The infrastructure is incredible, it's unrecognisable since we were last here at the Wales Open.

Yes, that is a team of 'The oppositions' caddies doing their homework. I've sent Ricky on a stealth mission to put them off!!!

Thanks for the superb pictures. Looking at that first tee makes me feel nervous, god knows how the players will feel. :)

Thanks for the pictures!

Can't wait for the Portugal Masters for my anual pilgrimage to be able to see the new tour workshop and all the Pro's!

And hope that the 2018 RC to be in Portugal to be able to experience it live, or to be able to get to the 2014...

Tuesday- Cold and damp here. The European team have been practising and are now on the course sorting out potential pairings.
The U.S team have just arrived at the practice tee, clearly struggling with the time change and delightful Welsh weather.
The 2010 course will be playing very, very long.

The U.S team are really packing some heavy weights this year, Dustin johnson and Big, Bad Bubba Watson were hitting it out of the range. The back marker is 300yds out and it's cold and wet, the ground conditions may suit these two...

They're all pretty long... but are they going to able to hit driver off the tee???

I've seen a member of the european team saying that Monty might try to put the rough in play for the american long hitters!

Bubba Watson is 25/1 to be Americas top scorer which is a big price. Reckon he has the perfect game/passion for a Ryder Cup.

So excited for the Ryder Cup, hope the missus has some plans for the weekend!

I notice that the practise rounds have been organised in 4 balls as follows:

8.30 Graeme McDowell, Rory McIlroy, Francesco Molinari, Edoardo Molinari
8.45 Peter Hanson, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Martin Kaymer, Lee Westwood,
9.00 Luke Donald, Ross Fisher, Padraig Harrington, Ian Poulter,

So... does that mean likely pairings are as follows..

Graeme McDowell & Rory McIlroy
Francesco Molinari & Edoardo Molinari
Peter Hanson & Miguel Angel Jimenez
Martin Kaymer & Lee Westwood
Luke Donald & Ross Fisher
Padraig Harrington & Ian Poulter

Are they playing full rounds today? Is Luke likley to tell you what it was like out there? Will he change anything with his equipment?

If Luke comes to the truck we'll ask him what the course is playing like. He's really settled on his kit, so I don't him changing anything this week.

Luke has a set of 63's that he's practicing with. He won't put them in play this week - he'll wait until there's a break. Jeff Overton might have something new in the bag.
