I am travelling up on the Friday. Anyone overnighting up there or nearby. if so, rather than spend a night in the pub on my own being stared at by locals (I've seen the Wickerman!), I was hoping someone else attending the Northern Forum might be up for a beer or five. If not, I'll sit in the corner and drink alone to celebrate a night without kids!

let me know if anyone is thinking along simlar lines - we are talking about Friday 20th May.

It's wedding anniversary weekend so Mrs S and I are driving down on Friday morning and playing Slaley hall friday pm and staying there for the night. She will then be employed as my caddie at Brampton.

not sure my wife could put up with the Mizzy talk and the staring at each other's clubs on the day (I was going to say equipment but that just didn't sound or look right!).

can't wait, even if i am drinking on my own the night before.
