Craigielaw has no dress code in the club house - anything goes to be honest. You can even wear golf shoes throughout the club house. On the course, it's the usual requirement of golf shoes and no jeans, etc.
Kilspindie however are a bit more traditional. Golf shoes aren't allowed in the club house but they do allow golfers to enter by the side door (this is the door on the right as you come off the 18th). But you can't sit in the club house and sip your Babychamp, you need to sit outside...
I asked if golfers could sit in the club house with no shoes on and bizarrely that's allowed! Anyway, just pop into the bar, grab a drink then sit outside and watch out for people shooting through the green.
Anyway, I'm not knocking Kilspindie as it's the old lady's 150 birthday this week so I guess we should expect some quirky behaviour!
