Mizuno Forum, Northern Members’ Golf Day - Itinerary

Arrive in good time for your tee off! Receive goody bag (not sure what’s all in it yet???)

Each member of the group will pay the balance of their day to Deemac (£40.95 - £10.00 deposit = £30.95), who will pay the club for the golf.

If everyone is agreeable, I would suggest an additional £5 per head contribution to the prize fund…

Muster on 1st Tee around 10:30 for Photos.

The day will be contested on the basis of a Stablefod Points competition with full handicap allowance!

Golf commences in the following order…

10:40 – 1st Group Tee Off
STFC_58GAZ
STFC_58GAZ (Junior)
Logie
Dutch

10:50 – 2nd Group Tee Off
Dougdadealer
Brian g
Simon S
DCB

11:00 – 3rd Group Tee Off
Deemac
Big Pete
Carisman
Mizuno Marty

Following the golf, we have a 2-course meal to look forward to, I suspect being served around 3:30 – 4:00 ish.

Following the meal, we will have a prize giving ceremony for the following:

1. Overall “Northern Forum Members” Champion - £30 prize
2. 1st Runner Up - £20 prize
3. 2nd Runner Up - £10 prize
4. Nearest The Pin @ The 1st
5. Nearest The Pin @ The 14th
6. Longest Drive @ The 4th
7. Longest Drive @ The 17th
8. Best Dressed Player (to be decided by a secret ballot)
9. Worst Dressed Player (to be decided by a secret ballot)
10. Best Bag Of Sticks (to be decided by a secret ballot)
11. Worst Bag Of Sticks (to be decided by a secret ballot)
12. Booby Prize – Lowest Stableford Score

I’m hopeful that there will be enough prizes on the go to sort all of this out, however, at present I have some firm commitments from some generous benefactors!

I think that’s about it lads, however, if I’ve missed anything obvious – please let me know!!

See ya’ll on the day…

D.

Man it's going to be windy - but after a quick check on the map of the course a southerly wind should help on the longer holes and the ones right into the wind don't look too tight. Hard to tell in 2D though :)

Anyone else checking the weather every 2 hours?

At one stage it was 25 mph winds and heavy rain

The lastest guess - erm I mean forecast - is overcast but mild, drizzly possible showers and a 1 to 2 club breeze.

I think the Scots might call it "dreich"

There's a ball marker and a tee each - it was actually a bag of tees at Bearwood.

And your misery will be complete tomorrow morning \o/

See you there
