Ooh nice (I'm getting slow on these spoiler threads :) and missed the opportunity of a BMW spoiler photo...)

I put Chris in my R2D fantasy team - I can feel a good weekend coming on.

Pete,

Was surprised that this thread hadn't already been started.

Starting a spoilers thread a first for me, couldn't help myself :).

Hehe yeah but I think he's safe this time. He was leading but now just one back (-1) today after 13 holes.

Embarrassing moment of the week....

José Manuel Lara's caddie "did a Woosie" and packed an extra club. Instead of coming clean, he apparently rushed off into the bushes and tried to discard one of the clubs in there. This behaviour was obviously a bit strange and aroused suspicion.

DQ....

Dont get why Lara was DQ'd though, must have know about it as Woosie only got a 2 shot pen.
By the sound of Pete's post, the caddy was trying to cheat by discarding a club instead of coming clean.
This must be why he was DQ'd instead of the 2 shots per hole penalty. I think the penalty is a maximum of 2 holes anyway, so only 4 at the most....

Yeah the article states that Lara was given 2 shot pen for 1st hole and 2 shot pen for 2nd hole, but no explanation as to why he was DQ'd by all accounts the Caddy was trying to hide the fact so I assume that Lara did not know?

I saw it earlier and apparently the player was oblivious to any of it?The caddie was then asked to leave the venue!!From an interview with Mr Paramore.Or whatever his name is?

I say that too rob, it seems the caddie made the mistake then tried to cheat but because the player is responsible for actions of his caddie he had to be dq'd. Harsh but fair otherwise player could try to cheat and when discovered simply blame his caddie.

Chris Wood perfectly placed for last round.

Hopefully this will be the first win on tour.

Big Woody missed a trick today. Level par round would at least seen him in a playoff!

Nice first win for Danny.

Chris just needs to keep putting himself in position. I'm sure he'll be disappointed but 100 grand in the bank should help ease the pain I suppose...

I watched a bit of the BMW before leaving for service. The conditions looked to be less than forgiving.

Also watched enough yesterday morning to see the swam having to be swatted away. Funny stuff.
