Totally agree Zombie - Great to catch up with old friends & meet a couple of new faces - Really enjoyed the course. I played with MPX & as a "local" he was saying the course was getting prepped for winter - Still a great layout with great clubhouse & excellent practice facilities
As to the golf, I won't spoil the post Chris will be doing with the winners etc apart from saying the winning score was an impressive round on that course off the medal tees (well done sir) - I think there may be a few gasps when the winner of the Longest Drive & Nearest Pin prizes are announced
It was also quite interesting playing the last three holes in the dark! - Think I was the only one in our four to finish the last! - Always great to play with Stewart & Chris, who I have played with before - Not the best round from either unfortunately with Chris in particular struggling to keep the ball in play (I think MPX visited some parts of the course he never new existed!) - MPX played some great golf but multiple lip outs seemed to get to him in the end & spoil what would have been a very competitive score - Anyway, a great day, organised to the highest order by Chris & helped out on the financial side by MPX / Mizuno
Finally, huge praise to our two visiting parties - Zombie coming all the way from Edinburgh & Stewart / Jackie all the way from Norway - That's what you call commitment to the Mizuno Forum! - Well done lads (& lassies)
Paul
