Hi - just a question for Mizuno. With regards to the quality of the iron shafts used by Mizuno, referencing the weight and frequency/stiffness as specified, I am aware that all shaft manufacturers will work within a set tolerance. Hence why you can buy ‘tour issue’ dynamic gold shafts with tighter tolerances.
I have read and heard concerns of huge discrepancies in the frequency of Project X shafts i.e. the shaft is stiffer or softer than the specified frequency. I am aware of a club builder that is supplied with tour quality iron shafts to ensure the best build.
Does Mizuno have any such arrangement with shaft makers to backup the quality and care that goes into their custom fit iron head process?
For info, I am considering Project X LZ shafts.
