Well we could argue whether this is the fifth major or not but there's little doubt this one is a big deal. With Rory and Lee now committed to play alongside all the other big names - Luke, Phil, Tiger Bu... (oh wait no Bubba has chosen to spend some time with his kid...)

One of the toughest finishes in golf - can anybody be as cool as Freddy Couples here.... or "better than most"

Pairings are out!!

http://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/r011/tee-times.html

Fast player Brandt Snedecker will be in for an interesting couple of days paired with Ben Crane and Nick Watney.

Kuchar Simpson and Kevin Keegan Bradley is another speedy group just ahead of....

Rickie, Hunter and Tiger!! - what a group (maybe Tiger will be the next "Golf Boy"?)

Lee, Luke and Bill Haas (Luke's $10m in his sky rocket)

Rory, Phil , Stricker - I guess you could say that's Marquee

I love these big events...

I stand corrected, that was it, the sega megadrive. Me and a mate hired the game for 2 days from the local video (YES VIDEO) shop and played it solidly for both days with not much sleep :)

I had NFL 95 was one of my favourite all time games. Madden was good for learning the rules of "football" and I think I've had about 6 EA golf games over the years (always used to get paired against Fuzzy Zoella)

Any bets on whether Tiger will make the cut?

I don't think he will.

I'm not sure Tiger would make the cut at Brampton if we had one. then again, playing those clubs he wouldn't get an invite.

Ah remember the good old days when Tiger played Mizuno and won stuff?

Ian Poulter appears to have remembered what he does for a living rather than flogging his clothing line

If Westwood could putt he'd win almost every tournament he turned up to play!

Luke eagles 16 and 2 - five under for the day and up to 9th (after 11 holes)

Not the highest place Mizuno staffer though - J Byrd one behind new leader Martin Laird at -8 after 12.

Westwood also going well at -4 after 11.

Tiger yet to tee off at +2
Rory hates this course.... missed the cut the last two times he played here - currently +2 after 10 holes and T93rd

Great, well everyone I mentioned in that post has gone on the bogey train since, apart from Tiger but only because he hasn't teed off yet....
