I had quite a bit of store credit with 2nd Swing, an online used club dealer. I spent most of it and with just a little left, went looking for crazy cheap stuff.
One thing I found was a putter made by a company called Teardrop. It was apparently bankrupted, but has now been bought out and resurrected, making a line of modern putters in the $300-$400 range.
BUT, what I bought was a really old model from 1992, what amounts to a somewhat deep flanged blade with a rolled face... for the princely sum of $9.99 US.
Ugly and goofy as it is, this crazy thing has incredible feel off the face and rolls the ball more smoothly than anything else I have. I was so impressed, I bought one for my grandson.
I think you can see why I'm thinking about painting it.
