Good evening everyone,

I am looking to replace my longer Irons with JPX Hi-Fli models.
I currently have the JPX 2019 HiFli in a 5 iron replacement, however I am looking to add the 6 HiFli as well to replace my current 6 iron. My concern is that the lofts of the 6 Hifli at 25 degrees and then the 7 iron sitting at 34 degrees is going to be too much of difference in terms of gapping. Can anyone suggest an alternative. Or should I be going from a 5 Hi-Fli down to a 7 Hi-fli and then having a 7 iron in the bag also? Just very confused at the moment regarding lofting.

Thanks again in advance.

I use JPX 900 pw to 7 i and hot metal pro on the 6 iron it is supper easy to hit and then I go JPX 825 hybrid for 5 and 4. The hot metal goes straigt and very easy to hit compared to JPX 900 7 iron

Go see a fitter and do a gapping session. No telling how you deliver irons vs hybrids, though going from Tours to Fli Hi in the mid irons is not something I've seen before. Most opt for a more gradual transition in iron models before going into the hybrids. FWIW a 9 degree gap is a lot. Two 7s makes more sense with lofts@29/34.

Hi MBOZIC, don't forget to check out the MP20 HMB's with your fitter. I use them in a combo with my trusted JPX 900 Tours to great satisfaction. The gapping shouldn't be a problem.
