I much prefer this look over the current JPX line. It's funny how marketing works sometimes. I wonder what makes Mizuno think this wouldn't sell in the west - This look is much more what I associate with Mizuno than the 919 or the 850 line. The 900 line was decent but should have been chrome, in my opinion at least. But I guess their sales numbers will talk a different language.

From inside looking out its funny how attractive things become when they're not available.

Think to our eye this one looked very big to be finished in chrome. That mirror look seems to work much better on a smaller, more compact club.

Well I certanly know the allure of stuff you know you can't get. But I have been to Mizuno Yodoyabashi in Osaka last year and let me tell you: The Japan Exclusive Stuff still looked very very nice, and I could have gotten it, I mean it was right there for the taking! :)

It would be a funny world if we all liked the same stuff! - This MX70 range looks way to "blingy" to me & one of the things that attracted me to the JPX900 & 919 range was the understated look & lack of chrome - In fact the 919 irons I bought had been "de-bagded" which I found even more appealing ...
