I had a thought today that the driving range at this event could be an awesome place to try out Mizuno gear - should be most models and shafts in play and I'm sure the good ppl of the forum would be happy for others to have a go.

Any further news yet? Times, prices etc...

Great idea for more events. I would suggest somewhere Lancashire or Yorkshire would be best geographically. Even if it's not Mizuno backed I'm sure the forum could have our own. Ideally we need Mizuno involvement so they can bring demo clubs along.

I like Villiers idea of a golf game in Lancs/Yorks. I will be away for the southern event in April and google maps says it would take me just over 5 hours to drive to DeeMac's proposed location.

Agree that it needn't be a formal event, just a few of us getting together would be good.

Swingslow, the AA route planner has Congleton 2hrs 46mins away from Brampton and 3hrs 8mins from Silloth...

Apologies DeeMac, I checked on 'Roxburghe' and must have got the wrong location. I have checked again and that is 3 1/2 hours away. The other locations you mention are even nearer and would be good. Especially Brampton as I've played there a couple of times.

Price confirmed at £30-00 including a buffet lunch. We will ask for a credit card payment in advance to reserve your place. To start we will allow
just one booking per member - to make sure you all have a chance.

The first tee time is at 1pm.
