Glad he managed to keep things going after a good start to the round. Hopefully he can play with a bit of freedom today and put in a good score to finish on.

Looking at everyone,s scores it must have been a difficult day and Luke had a rough round. His usual 4 birdies with 5 bogeys and a double bogey.

An impressive second round has move Luke up into tied 2nd after 36 holes. A weekend on the course, with a late start...just what the doctor ordered. Nice to see a smile on his face when he was interviewed after his round. Hope he gets a good finish this week at The Honda Classic

I wish he could reduce the number of bogeys, however he is still in with a chance to win.

Good to see Luke back and challenging at least. Still love how silky smooth his swing is, even if he was never one of the longest on tour, it's about consistency and then the short game to get it in the hole. Luke and Westy both showing the rest in windy conditions how to manage your round!

Poor final round for Luke. He just can't keep the number of bogeys down.

Before I play Monday morning, how much shredded wheat do I need to eat to hit it longer?

I'm going to say something sorta unAmerican here, but in recent years, there are so many American pros who are so plain vanilla that they could win everything and I still wouldn't find them interesting. They all live and die by the cliche with nothing interesting to say.

I find myself much more interested in the players from the rest of the world, specially Europe and what I think I like is, they give more thoughtful answers to an interviewer's questions. Luke and others like Ian Poulter, Sergio, John Rahm and Tommy Fleetwood always seem to say something more thoughtful. During the Ryder Cup, I even found myself rooting for some European players just because they are more interesting to me.

Maybe I was just born on the wrong side of the pond.
I can remember back when if you caught Colin Montgomery quickly after a poor round which was not that often you got such a heartfelt honest answer, priceless.

He must have been getting tired or losing concentration over the last few holes. He finished bogey, bogey, par and his driving accuracy dropped from being in the 90%'s to 78%.

His GIR is still mediocre and I can't blame his lack of distance as Poult's was hitting the same distance with 78% GIR and finished at -7.

Luke is playing in the Workday Charity open this week. Poor 1st round yesterday.

I'm beginning to think I have jinxed him with these postings.
