The inaugural event was won by Charley Hull but Amy Boulden had a run out and finished T14.

4th event yesterday:-

Looking at the results for the first 4 events I can't believe how poor the scoring has been. Yesterday had 16 players at +10 or worse with one at +19.

Can't believe how many of those at the top of the leaderboard bogeyed or double bogeyed the last few holes.

Amy Boulden tied 22nd. She seems to have transferred her allegiance to England . She has also played 5 tournaments not 3.

You’ve obviously not played there then LOS!!! I’ve been 5 times now, 13-18 is a tough stretch.
13 is a 570yd uphill par 5 with water all up the right and bundu up the left
14 is a 200yd par 3 to a skyline green
15 is a long dogleg par 4 left with knee high bundu on both sides and a well guarded green
16 is a risk reward par 4 and if you don’t make the carry far enough or far enough right you bring 6+ into the scorers hut
17 is a 230yd par 3 downhill to an island green
18 is a 450yd uphill par 4 with a drive over a lake to a split fairway with a giant bunker on the middle. Green is perched high on a hillside.

Genuinely, not for the faint hearted

Me on top half of 18th fairway. 17th green and 18th tee on lake behind. That buggy is on the bottom side of 18th fairway.
I’d drive over the bunker on this round, still had 170 in

You're right about not playing there and I am possibly expecting too much from the players.
2 more rounds and then the Grand Final to go.

It is a brutal finish.... but, they are professionals!!!! Handle the expectation and pressure. Seen that one of the women pros shot 98!!!!

I don't know whether she practises before the round but Amy Boulden seems to play poorly for the 1st 9 holes in these events

7th event today and no Mizuno players present.

T34th had a score of +10 and I am not quite sure what to make of the standard of golfers in these events.

They only managed to get 47 entries.
1 Mizuno player.

Poor round by Amy Boulden leaves her T24 on +7

T34's are on +10 so I will be interested to see how high the cut score is tomorrow.

Keep your eyes open for Rosie Belsham, a little petite powerhouse from my club in Whitley Bay on the coast near the Tyne. She was the youngest ever winner of the Northumberland Ladies Amateur Championship aged 14. She is only about 5 foot 5 and a bonny little lass but she plays off the whites on our tough 6700 seaside course and knocks it about 280. She has just turned 18 and plays off +4. Rosie is going to a Texas college in the autumn on a scholarship and we all have very high hopes for her 😀😀👍👍

Looks as though they have taken the the Rd 2 positions as the final with Alice Hewson winning.

The order of merit won by Charley Hull.
