Does the JPX 921 Hot Metal Pro have a matching GW? I've noticed a couple of sites have a Hot Metal Pro GW with offset specs different to the standard Hot Metal irons.

I’m like you. From what I’ve seen, it doesn’t look to be a matching club. I’ve been looking into this myself. Should find out soon enough. Clubs should be here shortly.

I would advise against having any GW that is not a specialist wedge. You are asking for something to perform like something else which it can't do. A specialist wedge (anything from 46° up) really should be a specialist wedge and not a follow on from your 9 iron or PW. I have at times taken the PW out of my bag and played a 46° specialist wedge instead but because I use a PW for more fuller shots, the pay back wasn't worth it. However, GW/SW/LW should always be specialist so that you get the correct sole grind profile and bounce for YOUR swing.

Thanks for the advice. Allthough it says it's a GW it is 49* and more in line with my current PW (48*). I still hit full shots with the PW and tried a specialist PW in the past, but it didn't work for me so went back to the set PW. All my current wedges (GW, SW, LW) are all specialty though.

The 921 wedges work well with both Hot Metal models. Designed to flow in.

I have the JPX 921 hot metal pro 5-GW and the GW is different though I was unaware until I became so discouraged with the club I examined it more closely. I ordered a Cleveland 50 to replace it as I use similar 54 and 60 Cleveland's. Disappointed. If I had known I would have gone 4-PW
