JPX 919 Hot Metal - Replacement Date?

Hi

I’m looking at getting new irons and have my eye on the JPX 919 Hot Metal set.

Is this likely to be replaced in the near future? They came out in 2018 so are probably due to be replaced in 2020 assuming a 2-year life cycle?

I would be loathe to jump in now if there is likely to be a newer model in the next few months ahead of the 2020 season.

It'll be next September before any new model is likely to be released, going by past trends. I'd get in there now while you can still get a proper fitting for them.

Definitely no JPX919 replacements this side of Autumn 2020.

the "19" at the end means "2019".

So the replacement would be a model ending "21" for the year 2021, which means around September 2020.
