I have grown up, (grown old), always hearing someone from the USGA saying something to the effect, "We aren't trying to embarrass the best pla yers in the workd, we are trying to identify them..."

I call BULLSHIT on that, considering the best players are hitting beautiful shots into greens and having horrible, uncommon and unfair results, because of how the USGA has handled the setup of the course. No watering??? Browned out greens? Slopes shaved to punish shots that are landing where they should?

I believe it brings way too much an element of luck into the play and the results, (way more obscure winners at the U.S. Open), compared to other majors proves it.

I'm not even interested in watching this fiasco. I'm going to wash my car and shampoo the bedroom carpet.
