Looking at replacing my MP-650 hybrid with a Fujikura Orochi 85g regular flex with a ST-230 Max.

Which shaft option would be the closest to the Orochi?

I also noticed on Snainton that they do a Project X HZRDUS Smoke RDX Black 80G regular flex, which is not one of the custom shaft options on the Mizuno site.

85g regular flex? I didn’t think they went that heavy on the regular. But the Orochi Red was always similar to the old Mitsubishi Blue Board so on that basis I guess the mid launching efforts like the Tensei Blue would suit. I don’t think you’ll get as heavy though but you may enjoy the lighter swingweight?
