Good to see Chris Wood back playing. 3xbogeys and 3xbirdies for level par in the 1st round so he will have to do better today if he wants to make the cut and get some tournament practice in prior to The Open.

I must have put the mockers on Chris today. A quadruple bogey on the 6th and he finished at 6 over so will miss the cut.

Eddie Pepperell is in 2nd place after round 2 so Mizuno clubs have a chance. Oliver Fisher made his 5th cut of the year and is 4 under, poor year and is languishing in 114th place in the R2D.

Eddie P shot 4 under today to tie for 2nd place on -12. Oliver Fisher shot -1 to drop 4 places and is tied 25th. Cracking round by Robert Rock, -10 to lead the field at 13 under.

Best tournament on tv this weekend. Everything else has been sort of boring.

Jon Rahm's final round of 8 under gave him the win at -16. Eddie P shot -1 to tie for 4th. I wonder how conservative Robert Rock played knowing that a par round would probably get him one of The Open spots. Wiesberger has started to play well this year and took his chances to score -4. tied for 2nd and also gets an Open place.
