shaft

Hi all. Just bought myself 2 Miyazaki Kaula Kiri 5s shafts to play around with. Only problem is I can't find anything anywhere to say if they should be tip trimmed at all. To go into a ST200G and an old taylormade burner 5 wood (I know it's ancient but I love it!) Any help greatly...
