That would be helpful but I'm not sure I want to be the one providing experimental evidence of what doesn't work. :D

Your putter does look rather interesting, slightly reminding me of the Wilson Staff Infinite The "L" with the hole at the back.

You seem to be under the misguided idea I've never done something stupid. Did I ever show this forum how I extend and backweight my clubs?

And as for the putter, I had a brief putter fitting last year while I was recuperating from some aches and pains. It clearly showed a face balanced putter is best for me, so I've been collecting a small bunch of older models since then. I have a newer Oddysey and a new Cleveland, but both have an oddity. Each one seems to set the hands behind the ball at address with the putter head flat on the ground. I just can't get a feel that's right holding the putter contrary to how I think it should be.

More gear coming in. I got myself a new set of wheels to replace my old, black 3.0 I bought used some eight years ago. I liked the colour although it's not quite the Mizuno tone.

I love the looks of your bag. I have a Mizuno BR-D3 bag with the staff blue, but it also has teal blue accents that look like they would match your cart color.

The cart colour is more green than the Mizuno teal, I had one of the aftermarket fairway wood covers with me when checking it before the purchase. :)

The bag's almost eight years old and it's starting to show its age on the outside. I've been looking at the new tour cart bag with the teal accents but I'm not sure I'm a fan of the bag itself as I'd prefer a 14-way divider and a carry handle at the very top as it makes handling the bag much easier in the cramped spaces of an old apartment building.

After seeing the new bag models on a UK website, I pulled the trigger on the old one that was on sale. The old one was a smaller tour bag when it comes to its quality, materials used etc. whereas the new tour cart bag is more like a regular cart bag with nicer panels. It's definitely lighter and flimsier and doesn't have the velvet top cuff than the old one had. I wasn't sure if I liked it all that much when I got it but I'm starting to like it after hauling it around for a bit. The five-way divider without a designated putter well hasn't been nearly as big of an issue as I thought it would be and the switch from 7 to 5 pockets is only problematic with my water bottles as I need to put the extra bottle in the side pocket and even the insulated pocket is a bit of a tight squeeze for one bottle. But it's nice the other side pocket isn't practically only for the massive rain cover like in the old one. The umbrella sleeve does eat up quite a bit of space though and the umbrella is rough on the pelvis when carrying the bag.

The new, white model might look a bit better in my opinion but I'm not sure having a white bag is a good choice in the long run: https://www.clubhousegolf.co.uk/acatalog/Mizuno-Tour-Staff-Golf-Cart-Bag-Staff-Blue-White.html

Welll well, it’s me again lol. I recently bought a set JPX 921 Tours. I wasn’t searching for anything but came across this amazing deal i will get them tomorrow. I also ordered a mizuno pro fli hi 3 iron, not sure when that arrives.

I had a similar recent experience, was offered some JPX 850 Forged irons in senior flex, just because an acquaintance knew I liked Mizuno equipment. I bought them.

I'm beginning to thing Mizuno isn't equipment, it's a disease. Fortunately, there's apparently no cure. :)

Not Mizuno this time. My Hi-Toe was starting to show its age and I was looking to get a black Cleveland RTX ZipCore FullFace (what a name) to replace it. But I just couldn't find one in the country, not even a satin version. So, when I saw this one at my club's pro shop for 25% less than the end-of-season sales elsewhere, I couldn't resist it. Today I got around to removing the grip, adding a shaft extension and a couple of extra layers of tape under the grip to make it a better fit for me.

Recently, every iron set I've tried has been 5 iron up or in one case, 6 iron up. Where i play most runs through a forest and from off the fairway, I often have to hit 4-5 shots a round that need to stay low and run, if I'm going to have any hope of recovering. Secondary to that, since I've never fallen in love with hybrids, but have always been a good long iron player, this should work. There are a couple par 3 holes and a couple short par 4 holes where this old 18 degree Fli Hi should serve me well, on top of recovery shots from the trees.

I just played 9 yesterday and hit it 3 times. Not only does it feel really good, but it did exactly what I wanted it to. I think it might be the best addition to my bag in quite a while.

I used to have a set of the MP-H5 irons I really loved, probably more than any other Mizuno club I ever played. When I had my shoulder surgery, I sold them because I needed to go to senior flex shafts. It doesn't seem like they are made with senior flex, so I never replaced the set I loved.

This morning, I saw a great deal on a set of 5-9, with a Cleveland PW. They have regular flex graphite, so I may change the shafts if my extensions don't soften the flex enough, but after my recent reshaft job on some Epon irons, I have confidence I can do it myself and build the set I want.

I've already started making plans to sell some Callaways I have and I'll keep the JPX-850 Forged set I have. I'm not sure what I'll do with the Epons, but I fully expect the MP-H5 to be my gamers.

I bought MP32 8 9 W and MP57 5 6 7 which were a matched set from Japan, after not liking them to start because of stingy mishits I've focused more on contact and now hitting them real well. There staying in my bag, I wonder if changing to a soft grip would help or change the feel to much?

Thats a good combo of classic Mizuno irons - The 32's were one of the best irons they ever made & the 57's offer a bit more forgiveness - Sadly all will sting on mishits & soft grips will help a little, but not much! - Better to keep working on better ball striking & just bask in the glory of how they feel when you hit one dead centre!

I've not used Mizuno before and saw this matched set read some reviews and decided to try them out, I was using Titleist T200 irons that were going mostly left and if the flags on the right where do you hit it?

I'm disappointed to say this club, which I thought was going ot be so much help, didn't turn out that way. Initially, I was looking for reasons to hit it and I did hit some good shots with it, but as time went on, I just became unhappy with the results. Sure, it's probably my swing, but the 7 wood in my Callaway set was working out better for me. I bought an older Mizuno 7 wood that should arrive this coming week. We'll see how that works.

I have a pair of Mizuno cross trainers I've had for 2-3 years now. Very comfortable shoes... i wish they had the golf choes available in 14 medium. I'd buy them.

When I put my Mizuno equipment up for sale a few years ago, only a driver and a 4 hybrid sold. I've replaced the driver already, but i had to buy another 4 hybrid and it's out for delivery today.

In the meantime, i was advised this morning the 7 wood I ordered was damaged in shipment and returned to the seller. They refunded my money, so I guess that will be the next thing I shop for.

Contrary to all my blather about staff color golf bags, I just bought a red/white Mizuno stand bag. It will be here this coming Tuesday. Don't ask me why this looked so good to me in the pictures, but I think I'll like it.

Pics then.

[EDIT] Elsewhere in the forum, I recently related how some sort of support inside the red stand bag has apparently broken. It won't stand up anymore, so I'm temporarily using a Mizuno cart bag I don't particularly like. Design wise, the BR-D4 is a good bag, but visually, I've just always hated the look of that odd pocket on top, just below the top cuff, above the ball pocket and drink pockets. I guess I'm just old fashioned and prefer the looks of a more traditional bag.

The new LW-C bag looks much better to me, so I ask the same question... Why doesn't it come in staff colors?

I bought a pack of 3 towels to hang on my bag and wipe my clubs with after each shot... Wow... Is your life as exciting as mine?

S23 wedge in 58/08.

First time an order placed with Snainton was not delivered correctly.

Grip is a Golf Pride "wrap" grip, when I specified the J112 360 degree grip.
The "wrap" grip is probably the last grip I would chose on a club.

Annoying because I need to change the grip on it now.
