You're lucky it wasn't the 9 iron or it would have been 9 weeks.

Hi guys.

Individually best handled via your retailer who submitted the return, But just like new orders, repair timelines are impacted by a shortage of heads, grips and shafts. Not great - unfortunately as you'll see from the wider media, the global supply chains are struggling.

Appreciate the frustration. If you could see how many clubs we get hat have been shut in car boots or wrapped around trees ....would make more sense. Unfortunately not everyone is honest, so checking becomes part of it. When the system is overheated like it is at he moment - everything slows down. Main reason we're not launching the 221 / 223 / 225 now is to give ourselves a chance to get wait times down - before we spike everything with a launch.

Yes I am seriously sick of people full of self importance coming on here and shouting like spoilt children whilst badmouthing a great brand... waah where is my club? I've spent £X on a full bag of great clubs and I want them now waah.... or in this case I've broke my toy and want it back now.... there are bigger things in life to worry about. If the biggest issue you're facing now is where is my golf club, you should have an ounce of self awareness and maybe even gratitude for how fortunate you are. Absolutely no need for shouting around the Internet like some manchild keyboard warrior.

I paid good money for these clubs and it broke it when hitting a golf shot on the course. If your car was in the garage that length of time with no feedback I am sure you would not be happy.it took 3 weeks to come and say it needs a new shaft that would have taken 5 minutes to assess . either they have a lot off clubs damaged or don’t care about after market service .

You're absolutely right I wouldn't be happy. Unless you're on the verge of turning pro, the car is more important than the golf club though. Look I get it, I'd be annoyed too, I'm just annoyed because the vast majority of posts on here are ... where is my... I want my... I actually don't know what I'd do if I was stuck without the 7. The hard hit 8 tends to pull left and if I try a 3/4 six the chances are it'll be too clean and I'll go too far. Anyway... Good luck with your golf and I hope you get the club back soon!

Just to summarise best i can - if we don't have that shaft in stock, that's why it takes so long to repair. Not ideal - but the world's supply lines aren't great at the moment. Not ideal for anyone, but we are somewhat powerless to change it. It's not a labour issue at our end or a priority problem. We just can't fit a shaft until we have it back in stock. Unfortunately we can't do anything to speed the delivery into us either.

Not a poor service, its the golf industry in general. as a club repairer , custom fitter, I have to wait weeks from my supplier as they are waiting an order from the likes of Golf Pride, True temper. I am waiting for a DG 105 S300 shaft for a P--g 8 iron 2-4 weeks ,

Shipping containers went from USD 2,000.00 per container in January last year to USD 14,000.00 per container later in the year, and guess what the vast majority of shipping containers are made in China!

Felistowe has something like 16,000 containers and guess what even though the containers are electronically tagged and shipping progress an be tracj=ked whilst in transit, as soon as they arrive at destination they can and have got lost at the Port; so if there's a batch of Nippon Modus 105 Stiff shafts waiting for Mizuno HQ and they're in a container that has been lost.............THERE WILL BE DELAYS!!!

If you are missing an 8 iron waiting on repair, you'll have to manufacture a shot with a hooded 9 iron or soft 3/4 7 iron, teach yourself some new shots and be patient.
