Have been playing the mp15 4-pw for the last 3 years and have enjoyed hitting them. I play off 9 and was looking to upgrading my irons to the jpx 919 hot metal pro 4-6 for a little more forgiveness/distance, and jpx 919 tour 7-Pw Ot not sure if I should stick with the mp 18 line - 4-pw mmc irons. Any thoughts?

The hot metal will look like shovels after the MP15s. Go withMP18s, whatever takes your fancy. Personally I have 6-Pw in the blades and 3-5 in the Flihi. The other option is the JPX 919 tour. If you could hit the 15s don’t go back to bigger profiles, the forgiveness is no better imo and makes your game slack. An off centre hit on the game improvers is far more dangerous than an off centre bladed hit imo.

Have to disagree with the bananaman here! - I have JPX900 Tour irons which I am pretty sure are similar in size to the 919's (?) - I bought these after using a combo set of MP4 & MP15's - I did not find the 900's "look like shovels" when I switched, as for a non-MP iron they have a pretty small footprint imho - I also think that you should try the 919 long irons, as the 4,5 & 6 are pretty easy to hit in my experience

919 Tour is the best iron on the market. Don’t be afraid of the long irons either, you don’t need fli-hi with them, they are dynamite
