We're currently dispatching custom equipment around 20 working days after from receiving an order.

Considerably longer than normal. We're building slower as we've had to space the factory out completely differently since re-opening. Plus screening - every little change to protect our Cumbernauld staff has an impact.

On top of that the demand for golf equipment has never been higher - literally surged since the moment the shops re-opened.

We're fortunate to be in an industry that appears to be riding out the storm, but its frustrating not to be able to build to our normal speeds. The surge will obviously subside, but suspect the new normal might balance out to 8-12 working days for a custom build in the future.

If you're waiting on a new set - thanks for your patience. Hopefully those extra days become irrelevant over the life of the product. If you're considering placing an order, the days of 3-5 day turnarounds are probably over. Need to plan a little in advance.

Hope everyone is well and safe.

Thanks for the Heads Up, I'm planning to order a HMB 2 iron to finish my MP 20 set, but I can definitely wait a couple of days longer. I just hope everyone at the factory can work in a safe and healthy environment. Hopefully things will still work out so that Mizuno Profits from the surge in demand!

Hi,

Just curious if there are any changes to the lead times. I placed an order with my local American Golf store on the 24th June and am still awaiting delivery without any updates. Hoping going direct to the manufacturer might help!

Kind Regards

The averages on this weeks calculations suggest we're beating 20 working days on the whole......though that remains our official line.

Definitely worth getting an update from the retailer. That's a little outside what we would expect.

Cut and paste - from another conversation. But seems to cover most queries we're getting at the moment.

...

Frustrating as it is - we can't give info to golfers on specific orders from a retailer to Mizuno. Our chain of communication is with our retail chain and they're the people we're updating.

There are plenty of things that can slow orders down - not everything is COVID related. Right now we're estimating 10-15 working days from order to dispatch on anything ordered today in Europe.

Things other than the impact of COVID that can cause delays.

1. Parts (we're in pretty good shape at the moment).
2. Mizuno didn't receive an order.
3. The order was incomplete (missing info) that we've had to go back for confirmation - normally just a few extra days.
4. Specific retailers might be taking longer as their trading terms with Mizuno are slightly different.

Mizuno doesn't take payment for any custom sets until after they've been dispatched. So definitely not in our interests to keep people waiting. The staff at our Cumbernauld factory have been putting in some pretty extreme shifts and overtime to try and cut the lead times down. Weekends and evenings are the norm right now. They've been borderline heroic up there.

So I placed an order (via a retailer) for my first set of Mizuno irons 6 weeks ago, got the long awaited phone call yesterday to say they had been delivered. Got to the store - opened the packaging looking forward to go and have a hit with my new clubs and the order was wrong!! The clubs were sent as a right handed set - I'm left handed and after checking the fitting sheets sent to Mizuno they were ordered as such. The rep then called Mizuno today and was told that the clubs were no longer available due to no stock being available.

Is this the service you provide!!!

Ordered mine last Friday 7th August. Guess i'll be up for the 20 day waiting time by the sounds of it. Actually live a 15 minute drive from the factory at Cumbernauld :D

I recentely ordered a single 2 iron and it arrived after 20 working days. Might be different for you though.

Ordered 3 iron HMB July 26.
Arrived Aug. 21, so about 20 working days/4 weeks here too.
Was out of spec and will be returned, so actual waiting time we will have to see.
It‘s a lottery for me with Mizuno these days. Only 1 out of 4 clubs is according to spec.
I can only encourage everyone to measure their swing weights after the clubs arrive.

That’s just not good enough from Mizuno
They read this forum so I think you deserve an explanation

Maybe they read it, but they act dead in most direct customer reaction cases. It's a strange company. Not sure they are working these channels constructively to their own benefit. Strange PR policy. Since their dealers in my experience are totally incompetent usually, few exceptions exist. You can talk to either someone clueless (dealer) or to a wall (Mizuno itself). Great.

This? Why do you troll Mizuno on their own forum? Some of us have been on here for a fair amount of time and find asking a question politely to the moderators gets a grown up answer. I’m sure it may just be lost in translation or in a culture of how we use these sites but please take note 👍🏽

Who is trolling? You are. I have asked several questions, politely. Nobody from Mizuno answered. There is no consistency, except in their showing the customers a closed door. You seem to have a problem with any critical post, since you are here to come on always trying to derail them. Are you working directly for Mizuno, or at least indirectly?

No Bernhard, I don’t work for Mizuno. But what isn’t correct is to harass and belittle the brand that people on this forum care massively for. This forum is full of golfers who love the running bird and welcome people with open arms who share our passion for all things Mizuno. Some of your posts read horrendously critical, bordering on the nasty.

If you have a problem with Mizuno take it up with the customer services team for Mizuno Europe. Reading that you obviously like Mizuno clubs, Feel free to join in our good natured conversations around what’s in our bags, what scores we’ve been posting, what new things we’ve bought and what new gear is coming out.
I’m sure it’s more a lost in translation situation but please respect others that have an affinity with our favourite golf brand.

Thanks
