My Sky caddie watch will now only last 8 holes. I want to replace it next month.
Any recommendations?
Thanks

Get a Garmin S60, absolutely fantastic piece of kit and is wearable as an every day smart watch. Mine does 36 holes in a day or lasts for 10 days on one charge with no golf

I currently use Bushnell Neo Ion 2 Golf GPS Watch and works well for me. Previously I used a Garmin Approach S2 which worked fine but the information is less detailed.

I have the Shot Scope V2 GPS watch that has built in automated performance tracking, I've been using it for the past two years and the analysis it's provided over that time has been really helpful in me having a better understanding of my game, It's helped me identify the areas that I needed to work on to improve and advance my game, on top of that it's also an excellent GPS watch providing front/middle/back distances from anywhere on the course It analyses every shot you take and records how far you hit each club in your bag it's also very easy to use.

Only issue that I've had over the two years has been with the battery eventually not holding a full charge for 18 holes, So I contacted Shot Scope and as the battery is not a replaceable part they immediately replaced the whole watch unit free of charge so I can also vouch that their after service is first class..!.

I’ve had the v1 and v2 with the v3 due to arrive any day. Customer service from these guys has always been fantastic. Not sure I’d get 36 holes with the v2 but luckily never any issue for 18.

I'm a S60 man, so many functions don't use half of them.

Arrived yet? I’m still waiting :-(
No not yet..!

Got this E-Mail from Shot Scope today

Shipping of V3 is underway, however it is taking a little longer than we expected. Some of you may have received V3 already, although we understand that some of you are still patiently waiting on the arrival of your V3.

All orders were due to be shipped out by today 15th June, however due to social distancing measures in the warehouse and the unforeseen demand for V3, shipping has taken a little longer than expected. For this we can only apologise.

Why is there a delay?
Our UK and ROW fulfilment centre has been overwhelmed by the demand for V3. They are working under tight social distancing measures in the warehouse which only lengthens the shipping process. We can assure you they are working extremely hard to get your V3 to you as soon as possible.
We expect shipping to be completed by the end of this week.

Do you know you are wearing it? It doesn't feel too jobby?
It’s a great smart watch. Just feels like a normal watch, not bulky like the older GPS watches and is a genuine dress watch unlike the Shotscope that has no battery life and looks like a criminals tag

Interesting definition of a dress watch :)....but yes, having owned a v1 and v2 Shotscope I can’t disagree with the criminal tag comment!! They definitely weren’t lookers. Reckon it probably put quite a few people off.

I would recommend Garmin Instinct in case you need a LONG BATTERY LIFE.
I really like the watch . If you want to show off the latest Apple or Samsung watch, fine. This watch just works. Shockproof, Waterproof, Military spec, a tough smartphone compatible watch with ABC features from Garmin.

https://wildproofgear.com/best-compass-watch/ - here it is compared to other ABC watches.

There is also a cheaper GPS alternative from Garmin, the Forerunner that goes in an under $100 range. I can’t say if reliable its battery or if there any ABC features but reviews are mostly positive!
