Well done Mr Jones, I think you would admit that neither of us were on top form but the better man won through 32 points to 31. I think if you'd brought a putter with you the score would have been more convincing! A super fast round (2:40) I think Jonesy had a hot date to get to

Most enjoyable and good company pal, looking forward to catching up soon in bonny Scotland.

Bananaman 31pts, Brattz 38pts on Belton Park today. Weather and company was fantastic, the course was in great condition for the time of year just a few bumps on the greens.

Pretty happy with 21 out, but the 17 back with tough holes into the wind to start the back nine was very welcome!
Sure Bananaman will fill in more detail on the day, especially his 40yd chip in birdie for 4pts....

Thanks very much to Senor Brattz for organising this, most enjoyable game on a sporting course with excellent company. I couldn't cope with the monster hitting of the gorilla that is Brattz but it was great fun to watch. I can't possibly comment on my chip in for birdie (on SI1) but suffice it to say that it followed a shank into the water on SI18 par three on the previous hole

A great week all told, playing excellent courses in Cornwall, Devon, North Wales and finally Grantham. Thanks to all my playing partners, this is a cracking forum to meet some genuinely lovely people :) .

Cheers Bananaman. Was tough in the wind to start with and on the first 4 holes on the back 9.
We will defo get more games arranged in the future and I will float the idea of a European Adventure for the forum....
