Firstly, thanks everyone for making it out yesterday, it was really great that we could get lots of the guys who couldn't make the southern date together, and also Zombie and Stewart making it to the weekend was great effort.

A few pictures first before i post the results:

And so to the results. As some of the guys have mentioned the course was tough, wind was string on the first few holes and it''s definitely a place where familiarity helps a lot. Only a handful of guys made it to 30 point and above,

Longest Drive: PaulBoy
Nearest Pin: PaulBoy (put it well inside Wotsit who had hit a very good shot to set the standard)

3rd Place: 30 points -  HairyEssexBloke, beating PaulBoy on count back
2nd Place: 31 points - OhBoy!

And with a fantastic total of 38 points, beating the field by a good few lengths. As well as the high quality crystal(?) trophy he also got a brand new Mizuno Pro Rain Suit.

Trojan615. Well played sir.

Needless to say wooden spoon was picked up by yours truly for the second event in a row.

Chris..

thanks for organising such a great day, thanks to the great company i had and the giggles ( esp Lee pleading for his ball to hit trees to stop it going in the water !).

Thanks Mizuno for the prize... may just force me out in the wet this winter

Nice to meet you all and glad you enjoyed Mizuno's home course.  As good as it was on Saturday - it's incredible through the summer.  Having said that, it was probably handy that they'd cut the rough back for winter.

Congrats to Paul - very impressive all the way round.  Comfortably longest drive and nearest the pin.
