My low bounce wedges work well on links but act like spades on soggy turf.

lucky we dont get soggy turf in scotland its always dry and sunny

Not sure if you found some new wedges or not.... this info might help you.

I play the following:
52 has low bounce (8) and I use it for tight lies, fairway shots, and tight, compacted sand.

58 has high bounce (12) and I use that for tall grass, deep rough, and fluffy sand.


With different wedges having different bounce you can switch it up as needed all over the course.
