Wanted: 2 x Fujikura Orochi Red Eye "Stiff" Fairway shafts.

I thought i'd try here just incase someone has one lying around that they no longer use.

I'm after a 3 wood and a 5 wood Fujikura Orochi Red Eye "stiff" fairway shaft, they don't need to have adapters on so a straight pull is fine, the condition of the grip doesn't matter just the shaft to be in very good condition.

If you have one that's lying around that you no longer use then feel free to drop me a pm.

I'm also open to the blue eye version of the Orochi shaft in a stiff flex in both 3 wood and 5 wood shafts.

Thanks

Hello ... I appreciate you are specifically asking for the Red Eye shaft, but in case you are open to suggestions, before I amazingly managed to win a pair of JPX900 fairway woods (& pick my shafts) I had just bought a pair of Fujikura Speeder Evolution Pro Spec 765 FW stiff fairway shafts - I had a Mizuno adapter fitted to one to try in my JPX850 5 wood & it is a superb shaft (huge improvement on the Speeder 6.3 Tour Spec stiff I had been using) - I believe it has a similar profile to the Red Eye you like (?), but is obviously a much newer shaft - I can also get any adapters you are interested in fitted for the cost of the adapters - Drop me a pm if they are of interest ... Hi PaulBoy

I appreciate the offer, for the moment i'll try to find the Red Eye shafts if i can as i know it's a shaft that seems to work for me. I appreciate that the ones you have maybe similar, you can never guarantee with a different shaft though that it will perform the same, they'll all have their own slight quirks and variances.

No problem Mr Tree - Also worth bearing in mind that finding a shaft that fits in one club won't necessarily mean it will also fit in another? - So a shaft that works as a driver shaft may not work as well in fairway woods? - I have been through hundreds of shafts, especially since the * in ones came along, & have rarely found a shaft that worked well in driver and fairway woods - There is no right & wrong in this however as everyone has their own swing to factor into the mix - Hopefully when you find a Red Eye to try in your woods, it will work as you hope?

I can agree with that PaulBoy.

I have the same shaft in a hybrid and fairway wood, the Titleist 816 & 915.  It works well, giving a nice high draw (most of the time)!  I decided to try the same shaft in the 915 driver, expecting similar results and thought I might have found the holy grail in drivers......  Was not to be.  Didn't really get away with it most shots ended up as straight blocks!

I appreciate your feedback and what you have said.

This is why i'm willing to try out the blue version of the Fujikura Orochi fairway shafts in a stiff flex so if you have either a 3 wood or 5 wood Orochi blue eye shaft lying around i'd be interested in them.

I've updated my original post with this.
