Fujikura Orochi Red Eye, did they do a 3 wood shaft ?

I've got the Fujikura Orochi Red Eye shaft in my Titleist driver at the min, it originally came with a JPX EZ adapter but i had the adapter changed to a Titleist one when i bought a 915 D2 driver as i like the shaft and seem to get on with it well.

I'm just wondering if they did the same Red Eye shaft in a 3 wood version as i wouldn't mind one for my 3 wood if i can find one to try.

Yes, the Red Eye was the stock shaft in the 650 line-up in drivers, fairway woods and hybrids. While you're at it, buy the heads too. ;)

+1.

Brilliant combination.  Still play the driver and 3 wood.  One of the best 3 woods ever made in my opinion.  Had rave reviews back in around 2012 by MyGolfSpy.  Top rated 3 wood in their tests.

I believe it did mate.  Think it was the stock stiff 75g shaft.

I used to have both the JPX 825 driver and the 15 degree 3 wood, the driver was the X-flex Orochi Red Eye but the 15 degree 3 wood had an Orochi shaft but it wasn't a red eye, my 15 degree 3 wood was a Stiff flex, it's the same as the one in the ebay link below

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Used-RH-Mizun ... Sws5pZImv1

Ideally what i was after is if they did the 15 degree 3 wood shaft in an Orochi Red Eye but in a Red Eye stiff flex, as opposed to the X-flex which i use in my driver.

Thanks for the feedback and replies already.

Another link to a JPX 825 3 wood with the Orochi shaft, but this has blue graphics as opposed to silver on the Red Eye shaft.

It's the Red eye shaft that i ideally want in a 3 wood but in a Stiff flex.

The JPX line had the Orochi Blue Eye as the stock shaft. In case you can't find the Red Eyes, Motore F3 and Blueboard should be quite similar shafts:

Swing DNA: 91/4/3/6/6

Driver: MP-650, 9.5, Orochi Red S
3&5 Wood: MP-650, Orochi Red S
3 Iron: MP-H5, KBS Tour S

Thanks Halebopp,

That youtube clip was excellent, it's helped me to understand the shaft that i'm using and why i seem to get on with it ok. I didn't know much about the Red Eye shaft until you posted that video clip, it seems to be a very stable shaft with a low kick point that helps to keep the spin down.

My next task is to try and find a 3 wood Red Eye shaft in a stiff flex and possibly a 5 wood version of the same shaft, that aint going to be easy lol
