Afternoon
Anyone else struggling with these and the lack of shaft protection they seem to provide?
Cheers to all,
Simon

Scroll down a bit & you'll see that someone else raised this a few weeks ago - In summary, the head cover is garbage, but in case you like the look of the Mizuno pom-pom one, don't waste your money on that either as it is pretty rubbish too! - Best bet (imho) is to pick up a JPX850 driver head cover or even something a bit older?
Just my opinion of course ;)

Cannot stand them.

Got a used JPX-900 3 wood of eBay.

I use an older JPX-EZ cover on it.

I agree 100%.  One of the worst headcovers ever.
I'm swapping my 850 & 900 drivers around at the minute and the 900 headcover is always in the boot.  Pom pom cover is on whichever club is in the bag!

I have some very nicely made blue and white knitted head covers with big pompoms on them. Unfortunately, they do occasionally get dirty and need washing. In the meantime, I'm sometimes forced to put the boxing gloves on my 900 series driver and hybrid

I hate the look, but Mizuno idd one thing right that many others dodn't do. They have a line of elastic across the cover that keeps them from falling off. I used to have a Cleveland driver with a boxing glove cover. It was so big it would literally blow off the club if the breeze was right.

What's a bit odd though is that these funny covers that look like animals are very popular and I haven't seen many of them that aren't basically the same as the boxing gloves in terms of how they fit on the club.

I have a Garfield the cat cover that from the back looks like a Tiger. On the front, Garfield is wearing a visor that says "Born To Birdie" More than anything, it reminds me I'm not Tiger.

Knowing how over the top goofy I am over my little Bichon dog, a friend gave me a Bichon head cover. It's so shallow it doesn't stay on the club, not to mention it's so huge that on my stand bag, it blocks me from seeing or finding everything else but the driver. I built a little stand and it's now an ornament in my music room.
I've had a good day if I didn't fall out of the cart...
