Loving my MP18s. Get the whole set as the blades Lee, they’re great. I wish I’d gone deeper than 6-pw now.

I do do wish they would make gw in the same set though. If I can have a gw in my 900forged then why not in my mp18 blades? Let’s face it, gw is pw in old money with the loft changes over the years.

I'd love to pull the trigger on 18 blades, but it's hard to justify replacing my MP5s after just a year and a half.

Does anyone have experience matching the fli-high or mmc models to the blades? I recall reading Mizuno designed both such that when you weakened the lofts, even the bounces lined up with the blades to create a smooth transition from blades to easier clubs as you got into the long irons and even driving iron range. All the fli-hi and MMC testing I've seen was done as if they were stand-along sets, not part of an integrated bag with blades.

Other than me, has anyone noticed how very similar the new TM730 iron is so much like the MP18 blade.

Copying B.stards if you ask me..

I initially thought that in my defense of all things Mizuno, HOWEVER, what design could you actually come up with that's a MB iron and not look similar to any other manufacturer?

Would be interesting to see the very first MB iron and who actually made it.

I'm sure this wasn't the first MB iron, but it was mine - played these for probably 20-25 years from when I was in high school until they were stolen maybe 10 years back. They don't look that much different from MP18s to me. Blades and MBs haven't changed much since at least the early 1980s.
