Adjustable hybrid?

Has Mizuno ever made an adjustable hybrid before the 900 series?

I found the irons I really like, the 2016 EZ Forged, but I had them with steel shafts. Just last week, I saw a set with graphite, so I grabbed them, but they start at the 5 iron. I currently have an 850 series 3 hybrid, so there's going to be quite a gap between that hybrid and the 5 iron.

I think I'd like a 4 hybrid I could adjust to fit the gap. Obviously, I'm trying to stick with Mizuno instead of putting another brand in the bag.

Anyone know?

Thanks

Why not try Driver - 3 wood - 3 hybrid - 4 hybrid - 5 iron etc.

That gives good gapping for me. No adjustment needed.

My experience has been very consistent with any set I've tried since the advent of hybrids. Basically, any hybrid, (brand and reasonable matching era presumed), goes farther than the iron of the same number. Thus, I've carried a 4 hybrid and 4 iron in the past, leaving a bit more gap between the 3 wood and the 4 hybrid.

Experimenting with some Taylormade SLDR woods recently, (sorry to admit I really like them), they all are adjustable, including the hybrid. Over a few rounds, I've found the "Higher" settings work best for me. That approximates a 12* driver, 16* 3 wood and the 3 hybrid can go all the way up to 23*.

Follow me here... The woods and hybrids are regular length. The TM RSi-1 irons are 1" extra long, so I tend to hit them a little farther than normal. This works well for me because the 4 iron falls into a nice gap position with the higher lofted hybrid.

I'm trying to make my Mizuno set work equally well for me. My reasoning is, I prefer the feel of the 2016 EZ Forged.
