I wrote a short burst here not long after I got mine, short story is I mostly agree with that article. The thing the continues to suprise me with the 900 is how good my off centre shots are, it's much better than the 850 in that regard. I've hit my 850 since I got my 900 however it's not been in the bag for a round since....

I'm getting my 900 dialed in now and can attest that moving the weights has a real impact. Weight forward dramatically reduced my spin rate.  I couldn't (wasn't good enough; didn't hit the center of the face enougg) to play the 850. The 900 is much more  foregiving for me and playable.

Interesting to me is that I may get a bit more distance with the JP EZ, but I'm more consistent with the 900.

Think overall it's a fair assessment.

Got to keep in mind that the 850 was a really long driver with good ball speeds (when hit from the middle).  The main improvement with the 900 is that it's easier to hit and ball speeds don't drop as much with off centre hits.

The driver is a lot longer for some people..........just need to find out if you're one of those people.

I know it's been asked before but are there any plans to start offering the weights and adapters over in the European market MPX?

I would have loved to see the 850 come out in a 10.5 neutral head with the way it launched etc. with the design of the 900 however that's no longer a thought!

I played with my 850 the other day for 9 holes.... it's still an option for the bag!!
