Wasn't there an issue with using 850 shafts in the EZ? - The shaft fits OK but the loft is 1 degree up or down if I recall correctly? - Maybe MPX or another Mizuno Staff can advise on compatibility between shafts in the 3 Quick Switch heads?

No issues at all Paul, half the shafts I've got for the EZ have the 850 adapters on.

7.5 setting on the 850 adapter =  8.5 playing when fitted in the EZ.

Yes that is what I meant - So what is the situation if you use an 850 shaft in the 900 or an EZ shaft in the 900? - I'm sure fellow "serial upgraders" will want to know?

850 shaft should be exactly the same as the lift range is identical.

EZ adapter in a 900 then just take 1 off the number on the adapter to give you the playing loft of the 900, ie EZ adapter set to 10.5 would be playing 9.5 in the 900.

Does the JPX 900 have an upright setting like the 850?
More importantly, what does this do? I accidentally put my 850 in 10.5 upright and started hitting high on the face and dead straight.
My iron are 2 deg up. Is it the same as this, lie angle.
Is it liable to help stop a hook?
Cheers

Yes it does have the upright settings, the adapters are the same.

As for stopping a hook, if any thing having it on the upright setting would help promote one, however the person swinging the club is the most important factor in the shot shape, ie club face/path at impact.
