I might be one of the only people who doesn't like the Vokey wedges.

I currently have a 56* JPX SW that I'm going to have bent to 54*. It'll still have 12* bounce after being bent. To go with that, I have a 58* JPX lob wedge that I'll reshaft with the matching Orochi A flex shaft.

The other Mizuno wedge model I really liked and still have, is the MP-T4.
I've had a good day if I didn't fall out of the cart...

Hey Dennis,
Hope all is good with you.  You are not alone... I have some Vokeys but only because they were given to me.
Still a Ping guy for sure... won't part with my Miuras, no way... and loving my Mizunos!
I like the older MP-T line and the old MP-R lines... not a fan of the blue wedges or any of the new stuff yet.

Cleveland 588 RTX 2.0 in 52, 56 and 60. They are really nice wedges, you'd never know they were cast, they spin really well and feel soft off the face.

Currently play the T5s, whilst they perform OK an not a great fan of the look, much prefer the T7 and really miss my MPR 12 & MPR that I used to have.

10 months on and now have the T7s in the bag, 50/54/58 but am experimenting with dropping the 54 to put a 3i in instead.

I've done something similar, dropping a lob wedge though. Long story short, 90% of the time, my efforts to use a lob wedge only get me into trouble. I'm better opening the face of a sand wedge to hit a flop shot.

I'm curious how you work with an 8* gap. Do you bomb the lob wedge to cover the distances the 54* SW would have covered or do you back off the 50* gap wedge?

Have spent a lot of time on our par 3 course just using a 50 wedge, holes range in distance from 60yds to 120yds.

My 50 full whack is 120, 58 is 100 and I've got the feel now for what length of swing and how much down the grip I need to go to cover all distances if required.
