We start off with a "club handicap" of 54 as beginners, I got down to 46 during my first season but then got my first "flow" round in early on in the second season. I was probably a 44 or a 43 handicap at the time and the one good round dropped me to 32 or 33, I can't remember the exact details but the Stableford score was north of 50 that day.

40 points would be great nowadays!

You weren't completely wrong with your assessment, zombie! :D

Hopefully it's slightly easier to understand now. :)

Blimey and a few more big cuts since then db.

A few here and there, usually 1 shot at a time, especially when you get to cat 2 or better. I started playing in 2005, got to single figures by 2008. Only because I played with good golfers from day 1.

(my net score was 56 in that comp not 55, I came across the card yesterday funnily enough. 77 gross, 51 points - 23 out/28 back!! haha)
If God played golf he'd play Mizuno irons
