Hi David,

Yes I did eventually Get it sort of sorted?..!

what I did was take video of my self on the course using my I-phone mounted on a small tripod so that I could see if there was anything obvious wrong with my swing,

What the video showed was that I was taking the club back on one plane and then bringing the club back down on an out to in swing plane And catching the ball low and near the heal of the driver face,

An other contributing factor was that I had been attempting to in crease the length of my back swing looking to gain more length off the tee and also increased my speed and tempo and basically I lost control of the club path,

I've now reverted back to my normal short swing length and tempo and I'm back to hitting it more or less near the centre of the face with the occasional miss hit now and again,

It's my intention to go get some lessons from a Pro to see what if anything can be done about my back swing length
on the other hand Netta says I should just save my money and remember that I'm coming 70 this year and except that I'm never going to be able to hit the ball 300 yards...! ;)

cheers
