While we are talking about tour pros using Mizuno clubs, it made me curious... Does Mizuno have any network of endorsed club pros? I don't recall ever seeing a Mizuno bag in a proshop with the head pro's name on it.

Around here, most of the head pros and assistant pros are endorsed by Titleist or Taylormade. I know 1 who is with Wilson Staff.

Anybody know?

Apparently Paul Casey is making a bag announcement today, and grilled cheese is at the players according to twitter, maybe a new Mizuno Staff signing?

Disappointing to hear the news that Rory has signed a long big money deal to use all Taylormade golf clubs. I wonder if he ever considered any Mizuno clubs?, and also whether Taylormade will still be in business before his new contract ends. Nice to know he considers the accumulation of wealth more important to him than winning titles.

I really don't believe that the driving force for Rory signing up to play TaylorMade is the money - He already has more money than he will ever spend in a lifetime - Whether he tried Mizuno during his extensive testing during the off season, you'd have to ask him? - I believe now that he has finally got married & appears to have that part of his life sorted, we will see some stellar golf from Rory - I certainly hope so, as Rory's A game is hard to beat ...

I don't think I was surprised to see Rory sign with Taylormade. Sure, I'd love to see him play Mizunos, but did we ever really think that would happen?

As for the money, I agree that it's secondary. Whatever they are paying him, millions of dollars I guess, probably will go to various charities he supports. At least I'd like to believe that.

Regardless of what he plays, I'd just like to see him rise to the top again. Players like MsIlroy, Spieth and Day put a great face on the game, along with some others.

I wonder how this affects the chances of Adidas being able to sell TaylorMade. Another big contract as a burden and increasing the losses but some might argue Rory might improve the brand image and make it more valuable. With DJ, JD, JR, Sergio, Tiger, wasn't there enough already to improve the image? :D
