2019's set-up. GT180 driver and 3-wood, JPX900 3-hybrid, JPX EZ 4-iron replacement (now getting long in the tooth but a lifesaver for me on long par-3s). JPX900 irons 5-PW, T7 wedges, Odyssey putter. All stuffed in the old Mizuno stand bag - usually when I'm carrying I'll leave out 2 or 3 clubs. Loving the GT180 driver for the added yards. The 3-hybrid is a new arrival, I'm still playing with the settings.

I can't believe I was the last person to post in this thread 6 weeks ago... Wow...

Right now the question isn't "What's In The Bag?", but more a matter of what's going to be in the bag.

I bought my 900 HM irons and built a set around them over 2 years ago when the hand and shoulder problems started. They have senior flex shafts 1.5* longer and vary from 2* to 1* upright to fit me.

Now that I've healed and can go back to regular shafts, I'm looking for their temporary replacements. I say temporary because, at 70 yrs old, I know I'll need them again someday, so they are just sitting in the closet, waiting for me to get REALLY old, probably laughing at me all the while.

So far, I haven't found anything close to my specs that I could adjust to work, but the hunt is half the fun! I'm thinking something slong the lines of the 2016 EZ irons... I like my results from my new shorter swing, but to get through our clumpy St Augustine rough here, a max game improvement sole does the best job. Time will tell...

Currently, ST180 driver and 3 wood. JPX-EZ 5 wood and 22* hybrid. JPX-900 Hot Metal irons, 4-GW. Vokey SW and LW, at least for the time being. Note the old Mizuno Axis #16 putter... That putter is a fantastic club.

Changed out my JPX EZ-Forged Irons and my T4 Wedges for the new MP-20 irons and T20-Wedges. Pics to follow. They look and feel just amazing. Ability Wise I probably shouldn't, but for me it's just about the fun, and boy am I having fun with them :).

Whats in my bag 2020 been a few changes from 2019,

New in the bag is the ST200X driver with Mfusion 039g R flex shaft,

In comes the ST190 3-wood and 5 wood both with Atmos 6R2 senior shafts,
Out go the two CLK 19 and 22 deg Hybrids as I've continually struggled to hit them from the day I bought them, in their place are three JPX Fl-Hi's No 4, 5 & 6 all with PX LZ 4.0 60g senior flex Graphite shafts,

Still playing the JPX 900 HM irons 6-PW fitted with PX LZ 4.0 60g senior flex shafts so no change there,

I retired my three forged wedges the two MP-T4 50/54 deg and the one MP-R12 58deg these were the oldest clubs in my bag having had them for 8 years, I've replaced them at the moment with two S18 forged wedges 50 & 55 deg but still undecided if I should stick with the three wedge set up or add one more..?

Putter is now the Face balanced Odyssey Stroke Lab Tuttle 34” length,

And the final changed was from the Mizuno cart bag in Staff colours to the Pro cart bag in Black & Grey.

John.

MPX ... After several years of waiting for you to change your clubs, I have to say:

this post is worthless without pics.jpg

Cheers!

Hi LOS,

When I clicked on the link to see the pictures all I get is the following message "( You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.)"

John
Hi John,
I am getting the same on 3 different browsers with Win 10 and android 9.
I don't know how he put the images onto the forum so don't know if the forums media manager, software' is blocking them.

Hi LOS,

I'm running Window 10 on my desk top PC,

The way I'm doing it is to load my JPEG images in to a folder that I have on the desk top of my PC I then just use the Insert image function on the top line of the forum page and select the image I want to use and it just uploads it automatically,

John,

I don't know why it isn't working for me but I am doing it in the exact same manner. However when I then hit the "Post Reply" Button I get an error message. This is a bit frustrating for me as I would really like to share the Pictures of my current setup. (The clubs are quite beautiful ;) )

What does the error message say?
What OS are you using? On some forums I visit there have been problems uploading images from a mac with no real solution found.
What file size are you trying to upload? It's preferable if they are all less than 250kB each.

Edit: I have just tried 4 times now to upload this and failed each time getting a forum error. The only difference between the failures and this post was that I quoted MrK20 message using the reply button in the failures. Very odd.

The issue is similair on my end. When I try to reply or add an image it doesn't work. OS is Windows 10. The File Sizes are not the issue (smaller than that).
The Error Message just says that there seems to be an issue.

Hi LOS & MrK20

Posted this using the REPLY function to LOS's post,

This is my alternative whats in my bag 2020 only difference is I swapped out the JPX 900HM irons for my set of MP-53 irons

Never experienced any problems with the JPEG image upload or when using the POST REPLY function

Let's try again.

Edit: OH MY GOD IT WORKED!
So this is the new setup. JPX 900 Driver, 3 and 5 Wood - then I go 3 thru 9 iron in the MP-20s which then goes into a 49-54-60 setup in the new T20s. I especially love the 54° it is very versatile for me which I love. If I manage to find some Mizuno Balls online I will usually play those as well.
I have had the 5 iron bent 1 degree weak and the 6-9 irons 2 degrees weak. I would have prefered to get them even weaker but that was as weak as I could order them. I would have liked a four degree difference between all my irons, but don't want to bend anything strong as I love the look of no offset. Not perfect but pretty close. The irons are just beautiful. Now, if only I could find the time again to go out and play, but hopefully that will come very soon!
