Re: The Memorial @ Muirfield Village, Dublin, Ohio (spoilers

Enjoying the Memorial thus far; always enjoy "Jack's event". I would love to see JByrd pull out an "upset" but he has a tough group in front of him.

With regards to the cameras on the course... and that's what it is, IMO. I have heard some of the supporters speak of "important" types being able to stay in touch with the office while being away for a day; I call bull. I also call bull on expecting the marshals to "police" this type of distraction. Please. The PGA, and the R&A respectively, needs to either; endorse it fully, or discourage it fully. Don't expect a group of volunteers to police 30-40K teenagers, and teenager wannabe's with cell phone cameras. Pandora's box will be open.

Obviously Phil withdrawing was a statement of disapproval. I suppose he could've stuck in there and played...and thrown his clubs down while barking at the fans :no names mentioned: I don't blame for how he made his statement. The guy has been around, he is an icon, and has been a great ambassador for the game and business of golf. Surely there are other ways to exercise ones discord, but he did, I suppose, what he thought would gain the most exposure without being totally classless.

:sigh: Rant over... sorry for attempted hi-jack of thread.
Cheers on this Sunday and go Team Mizuno!

Good news - Luke making bunker shots look easy
Bad News - Luke hitting bunkers

Sabbatini shown spraying dirt all over Rickie Fowler on the range - classy. I'd like Levin and Sabbatini to get into a full on fist fight coming down the stretch. They both have previous "anger issues".

Ah the BigPetesBangers curse strikes again - Rickie Fowler going backwards fast 3 over for the day and now 7 off the lead of Levin at -9. Still Rose and Byrd representin' near the top.

Nice last round from Luke (shame about Saturday's 75) but into the top 20

Highest placed in the clubhouse so far? Englishman Greg Owen at -2 following a terrific 67

Looking good for JB - showing us how to play bunker shots with his, ahem... Nike wedges... Now only 2 off the lead with 2 to play.

Lee Weswood getting excited on Twitter as he got 66/1 on Andres Romero hehe

The big question is - can Sabbatini hang onto his lead with the Tiger steamtrain coming.... what a chip in from Tiger to tie the lead!!

Looking really good for Tiger now.

Standby for all the hype and I bet he will be the favourite for the US Open in couple of weeks.

Tiger's Back!

That's all we're going to hear now!

All the Americans are going to be creaming themselves at the thought! (I apologise in advance to all out American Forum goers!! But it's true!! ;-) )

Let's hope it's a flash in the pan, and normal service is resumed forthwith!

Tiger moves to 4th in the rankings (probably) and last night, his agent gets busted for drink driving....

Ok Tiger doesn't play Mizuno but that was awesome golf and a deserved win.

didn't see much of this round, but judging on the fact Tiger shot 67, he must have played some rock solid golf out there today.

Not this American. I, for one, can't stand the man and contrary to popular belief I dont think he is "good for golf" (which I hear insistently from the Tiger faithful).

If another Pro showed his a$$ on the course the way he does the media would crucify him.

:sigh: oh well... It was nice while it lasted. :sigh:

It's going to make for an interesting US Open that's for sure. Sunday from Tiger was something special. The rest of the guys just have to raise their games and put a little pressure on him, then we'll see if his new swing is the real deal and he's confident in it.

Not being funny but I played a very similar shot to this a couple of weeks ago at the 12th at my place over more of a ridge, downhill from heavy rough (and it went in for a 2). Nobody said that was the best shot they'd ever seen....
