I think you'll be safe this year Brian. No upstairs disco in Craigielaw, and the only shots available are on the golf course.

I was actually thinking we might look at a local pub for 1 of the nights not sure craigielaw is too keen on late night whiskey drinkers ;)

Well, this is my first visit to the forum in quite a while.  I'm pretty much retired from the forum nowadays, and actually pretty much retired from golf in general.  To those who had me in any position with their top 3 - thanks for the compliment, however, I've played two rounds of golf since September of last year and currently have an official handicap of 4.1 - I'll not be winning any prizes this year chaps!

Looking forward to seeing you all there on Saturday, although I may make a guest appearance on Friday and am quite happy to caddy for someone...

There are some great local pubs in Edinburgh... Not really anything much closer to be honest.

The warm up round on the easier Kilspindie course went well. A bit windy but hey what's new around here!? 

Lots of people played better than handicap but one dude tore the course apart:

Tonytim8 = 45pts
Zombie = 41pts
Big Al = 39 or 40pts - I can't remember 

We've had some rain this morning but the will help the course. Wet bunkers aren't any fun on Craigielaw though... 

Time for breakfast now and to see how the whisky and cocktail crew got on when I went to bed at 0030.
