I recently upgraded my old TM burners and replaced them with Mizunos. I was personally fitted with the Burners and they were extended by an inch except for the Driver. When I bought the Mizunos over the internet I simply asked that they be extended by an inch. I now find the Mizunos vary in length with the Burners between .5" and 1.5". This is playing havoc with my game.
I'm thinking that if I had a custom fitting done the Mizuno clubs would not have been extended as much as the Burners were.
Should I go to a Mizuno stockist and ask for a personal fitting or would it be OK to take them to my local pro (who I have complete confidence in but he doesn't stock Mizunos) and ask him do a fitting for me?

Hi,
Personally I would go for a proper personal fitting with a Mizuno specialist if you can.

You need to be advised on the launch angle, rpm on the ball and the Trackman system that Mizuno have can do this. I until recently had a 8.5 degree TM Burner driver which I thought I hit well (around 240 carry) but with a low launch angle. When I was measured I found that I needed to reduce my RPM and increase my launch angle, which I did with a MX700 9.5 degree with a Fit On Shaft.

Result = 255 yards through the air with a better launch angle and closer disbursement.

I agree with Robbo016...

Go wherever you can get onto a trackman!! If your local club pro has access to one, then go there, if you need to go elsewhere to get a trackman session - go there!

The important thing is to get "properly" fitted and this can only really be done with hard data to back it up - e.g. Trackman.
