Over here in Brisbane Aus. there are really only two seasons. Wet and Dry. The only difference in playing golf is that in the Wet season sometimes it gets a little uncomfortable (70-90 Humidity and 30-40 degrees C) BUT I can still play 12 months pa.
How do those in more temperate climates survive not being able to go out and have a game and how do you keep in form. I rekon I would go crazy if I could not play in at least 2 comps per week every week.

Two comps a week, every week..... lucky you..

off season golf is usually determined by looking out of the window and deciding if there is anything i would rather be doing, answer is almost always no. only on the really wet and windy days do i stay indoors... we are so lucky now with the changes in golf clothing design and material technology advancement that we can still enjoy some pretty bad weather and temperatures in relative comfort.
