Has anyone else experienced scratching on the blue matt painted clubhead?

I’ve not had it happen on any of the older shiny / gloss driver heads ( but this also occurred on a JPX 900 )

I think it occurs when specks of sand get into the head covers.

Any ideas as to how I repair or get rid of the scratches?

Hi Nick ... I had my JPX900 driver (matt paint finish) for nearly a year & never got a scratch on the paint - I used the 900 head cover during that period - Are you using the cover your ST came with?

I dropped my 900 driver at the range and it fell onto the gravel in front.

No scratches at all on it thankfully.

That happened with my Ping i15. Not a scratch on the crown for a couple of years until one time some sand got inside the cover and in no time I had two ugly scratches on the top. I was able to limit the damage with a black marker but I don't know how I would've gone about fixing it.
