Non Standard Driver Shaft - Any of You Guys Playing One?

I have an MP600, however I have a shaft in it that Mizuno didn't offer, even on their custom shafts list.

Do any of you guys have a non-standard shaft in your Mizzy driver?

I have a Fujikura e350 in my MX700.

any shaft is fine as long as it fits your swing

I had a Fujikura 360 in my mp 600 and changed it to a proforce V2. looking to change it again though the mx560 I have with the standard Mizuno shaft feels better

I have a Matrix Ozik F7M2 Stiff shaft in the driver. I went to a place in St Andrews called "Applied Golf Technology" and did a driver optimisation session.

They have a Nakashima driver head that has interchangeable shafts, so I was able to try around 20 different shaft combos, and the radar launch monitor was able to aggregate the results based on: Launch angle, smash factor, carry distance, spin, dispersion, etc.

The Matrix was the top shaft for me, with the Prolaunch Red (stiff) a very close second.

I ordered the MP600 with the Prolaunch Red in it, but about a week later I sent the club down to AGT and got them to re-shaft it with the Matrix.

I LOVE IT!!!

I have a Matrix Code 6 which replaced a Graf PL Red in a Titleist 909D3.

Much better, but not cheap.
